If you have been admitted in a French institution, you should start the process of obtaining a student visa at the French Embassy.
Two steps for the Visa :

Interview with Campus France Kenya
Once the Campus France Office in Nairobi will have validated the documents certifying your registration, you shall be required to seek for an appointment with the Scientific and University Cooperation Attaché through the Head of Campus France Office in Nairobi.

Interview with the French Embassy in Kenya
Thereafter, you shall be required to fix an appointment with the Consulate of the French Embassy, by preparing all the necessary documents for making an application for a student visa, as described on the website of the French Embassy to Kenya and Somalia.
You can complete your application on the online portal. You will be asked to create a France-Visas account, which you will need for each step of the process.
Documents necessary for the application for a Student Visa
- Passport (must be valid 3 months minimum after the visa expires) and a copy of the passport
- 1 application form
- 3 passport-size colour photographs, with a white background
- Air-booking ticket print out
- Letter of admission or certificate of registration from the school or university where the applicant intends to study in France
- Cover letter explaining the purpose of the studies in France
- Proof of accommodation for the duration of your studies
- School certificates, diplomas, etc...
Financial guarantee
- Affidavit of support
- Last 3 months bank statements of the sponsor, certified by the bank that must be located in Kenya
- Letter from the sponsor’s employer
- letter from the bank of the sponsor confirming that a 70 000 Kenyan Shilling monthly transfer is possible
