The 2nd FRENCH Edition of the Pechakucha Event was held on the 10th of JUNE 2022 at the Alliance Française of Nairobi. The event was graced by Campus France alumni and other great speakers who shared various interesting stories.
This Edition of Pechakucha in French presented by Campus France and AFRAKEN was Epic !! The French language was promoted in style once again.

What’s PechaKucha?
PechaKucha is a special style of presentation that privileges short, powerful messages. The
PechaKucha presentations series has spread to cities around the world. Presenters share
information about their passions and interests while displaying 20 images for 20 seconds
each.
PechaKucha is a specific style of presentation that originated in Japan, launched in 2003, it
entails presentations of 20 slides, displayed for 20 seconds each, for a total presentation
time of 6 minutes and forty seconds.
Once a Year AFRAKEN presents Pechakucha in French at the Alliance Française. This year it
was well attended by students of the Alliance, Kenyatta University and French who reside in
Nairobi.
PechaKucha has its own format as described. This format is used in many countries and its
peculiarities have made the PechaKucha popular. PechaKucha is carried out in various fields
of science, such as medicine, science, social, art, education, and various other fields of
science. PechaKucha has become popular because of its format and uniqueness that lies in
the "chat" which is presented in the form of a short presentation that can accommodate
many speakers. Even in some countries, PechaKucha has become a way of life and a
necessity to share and talk with each other, On the website, there is an agenda for
PechaKucha presentations and several archives regarding the activities of the PechaKucha
that have been carried out over the years.
